About Last Night

Something — an instinct — nudged me awake. I pushed back the covers and crawled out of bed. There on the floor I saw a patch of silver light. I peered out the window, searching for her. She eluded me. I travelled from window to window. Finally, I saw her. She was full, round, beautiful — a goddess riding the black sea. She beckoned to me and I couldn’t resist her. I ran outside. I had to be with her. Though it was a cool night I barely noticed. She cloaked me in her glow and I felt such joy. My hips began to sway and I danced in the moonlight.

As women, we draw our power from the moon.

Fear not the night — be at peace.
